Specially designed for use as primary batteries in e.g. alarm systems, monitoring and measuring equipment.

SAFT LS14500 is a unique high performance battery, aimed at the industrial sector. The battery uses Lithium Thionyl Chloride (Li-SOCI2), which gives it a higher capacity, stable voltage throughout its lifetime and a low self-discharge. The battery is fully compliant with the safety standards IEC60086-4 and IEC60079-11 and is not subject to the UN recommendations on dangerous goods.
The LS14500 is delivered fresh from the factory and the actual production date is printed on the battery. The SAFT LS14500 is suitable for devices that require long durability and reliability, therefore allowing for longer time between replacements.
E.g. binoculars, night vision, IR, underfloor heating control, alarm systems, sensors, security devices, GPS tracking, backup systems, meter reading, car programming, etc.
